Another toy from the past....

 

Another "blast from the past".  I finally found it! Memories can be hazy from so many years ago. But I remember my brother Tom and I getting this from our parents so many years ago...we each got one.

They are very rare today and very hard to find... 

The year would have been 1967.  I remember a neighbor kid got one, so we pleaded with our parents for the same for Christmas.  And the kind parents they were, we did indeed get each one of these .

Made by Marx Collectors, it was the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter plane.

Battery operated, the propeller worked, and it made machine gun noises when you pushed a button.

I can assure you, my brother and I had many hours of fun with this awesome toy.

So happy I finally found it and what it was!
